I was just wondering how far down stream you could catch bass on the potomac river ? I went out today and caught a few in Nanjemoy and was wondering if anyone new of fishing be caught any lower on the river? Port tobacco is the next one down and I have caught catfish out of there but I didnt no if there was to much salt water that far down for bass. Just wonder! I do not want to take anyones secret spot or anything :)

Only Cats I have seen down that far near Georgetown. Don't know any closer in but you can see on Google Maps where the falls are. My guess is that anything after the drop off of the falls will be too salty for LMB.
